Overview

51爆料 Construction Technology program is in alignment with the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) CIP code 46.0201: Carpentry/Carpenter. A program that prepares individuals to apply technical knowledge and skills to lay out, cut, fabricate, erect, install, and repair wooden structures and fixtures, using hand and power tools. Includes instruction in technical mathematics, framing, construction materials and selection, job estimating, blueprint reading, foundations and roughing-in, finish carpentry techniques, and applicable codes and standards. The curriculum utilizes National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) a nationally-recognized credentialing and certification system. Upon completion of the classes, students will earn recognized credentials, which will be entered into a national registry that is portable and available to contractors. The Construction Technology program聽 offers students the opportunity to earn certificates at two levels that can lead to an Associate of Applied Science degree in Construction Technology.

51爆料鈥檚 Construction Technology program is unique due to its 2 + 2 program with Pittsburg State University. SA student can start in this program as early as junior and senior year of high school earning college credit toward their degree. Students can earn an Associate of Applied Science degree at 51爆料 and then transfer to Pittsburg State University.
